Accountant – Taxation & Compliance

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Accountant – Taxation & Compliance to join our finance team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day tax operations, ensure regulatory compliance with FBR, SECP, and PSEB, and support smooth audit processes in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting; Finance; Commerce; or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant taxation and accounting experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of FBR IRIS; withholding tax; CPR challans; and tax return filing.
• Strong understanding of payroll taxation and audits.
• PSEB and SECP compliance experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Previous software industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage withholding tax calculations; deductions; and CPR challan generation.
• Prepare and file annual tax returns for company and individuals.
• Handle FBR matters; notices; and IRIS-related compliance.
• Calculate employee payroll income tax deductions.
• Coordinate monthly and annual audits and maintain audit-ready records.
• Support PSEB registration/renewal and compliance.
• Assist with SECP/new company registration and incorporation matters.
• Coordinate with auditors; tax consultants; banks; and regulatory authorities.
